Visit the Kapahu FarmAt the Kapahu Farm, you can walk through 2.5 acres of restored lo‘i (taro patches), smell the scent of banana, and feel the softness of a taro leaf. You will hear the trickling of water as it bubbles up from natural springs and flows from taro bed to taro bed. You will see ulu (breadfruit), wet and dryland taro, coconut, sugarcane, and banana. Come, meet Native Hawaiians whose families have lived in Kipahulu for generations. Learn and experience the practice of malama ka ‘aina as it has been lived for centuries.
